Hello year tens, I hope you are enjoying your online classes so far.
Your next task now is to understand how create a melody or compose a song. I will begin by sharing videos in steps. We will begin the a BASIC ELEMENT of music or singing, and that is rhythm. If you can recall in class our notes say that rhythm is an imitation of life, which basically is talking about the pulse of our heart, and verything that surronds us has rhyhmic patterns to it. So we shall start with the first video on RHYTHM.

THE RHYTHM TREE shows you how notes are related together and how they branch out into combinations.

The following videos will explain to you how Notes are Grouped together to create a combination of Rhythm and Sound.

In this previous Video we looked at Time, Value and Duration of Notes.

This next video is all about Rhythm, Dotted Notes, Times and Rests. Pay close attention to how we start to group notes together to create rhythm that flows.

This next video will be teaching you about Time Signature. Group Notes together in according to the Time Signature.

Rhythm is an integral part of life. what I mean by this is that everything we do in life includes rhythm, when walk, talk, breathe, heart beats even the environment around us involves rhythm Rhythm involves notes and these notes are written on the BASS STAFF or THE TREBLE STAFF. Watch this musical explanation and note down any questions that you want us to discuss in class.
